The view from our lovely room was so good we nearly didn't want to leave. The room was modern, tidy, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We initially went to the wrong of Hotel Calimala's two locations, but the staff welcomed us warmly, helped us out, and even walked us to the right one. Special thanks to chiara for greeting us and checking us in. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

We spent part of our honeymoon at Calimala Hotel, and the atmosphere made that time feel even more memorable. The location is right among restaurants, cafes, and lovely streets, and very close to Florence's main sights. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day. We also looked forward to the generous spread of tasty breakfast choices each morning. Highly recommended for a Florence visit.

I was jet lagged when I arrived, and the young woman at the front desk was so kind to me. I'm very grateful to her. The people here were wonderful, the rooms were quiet and nicely presented, and the restaurant was lovely too. The salad and mezze were just right. Thanks to everyone for the hard work and good cheer. A wonderful place.

Angelo at the front desk, plus Giancarlo and Alessandro behind the bar, were terrific. The hotel sits close to the action, but far enough out that its street isn't hectic. The rooms are a good size, and the bathrooms have fun, trippy tile. The rooftop Angel bar alone feels worth the rate, with the best city view around, nice cocktails, a pretty good menu, and great staff. Calimala isn't cheap, but the price isn't outrageous either. You'll be happy here.

We'd definitely like to come back. The room felt especially roomy, which made the whole stay relaxing, and its interiors were stylish, playful, and full of character while still elegant. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, and always made an extra effort to keep us comfortable. A lovely stay.
