Hotel Regina

For such an affordable rate, the value was hard to beat. The hotel is central, and our room was quite clean, well kept, and cleaned regularly. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was very good. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it. Thanks for everything.

We stayed three nights, and the room was tidied every day with the beds made and fresh towels. Ours had purple wallpaper, a cosy feel, and lots of space, which was a big plus. There was heating too, handy for someone like me who gets cold easily. The bed wasn’t amazingly comfortable, though I’ve slept in less comfortable beds at some three-star places. The water pressure was weak, and toward our last night the water either wasn’t hot or took a while to heat up. Service was okay as far as I could tell. There’s no jug or kettle, tea, or coffee in the room. For a one-star hotel, this was a neat stay and good value. If you’re after somewhere cheap, comfortable, and simple, it’s a good option. It’s nothing fancy, but at this price and rating, that’s to be expected. Thanks to the staff and cleaners.

Clean, quiet, and close to everything, with a comfortable bed and a fair price. The bathroom was outside the room, as advertised and expected for what we chose to pay, though we did have a vanity in the bedroom. Reception were always kind and helpful. I’d come back.

The staff were friendly, and it was handy that we could leave our bags at the hotel for a while after checkout. The location was excellent for walking to the main sights. Our room was bigger than expected, but the bathroom was very small and dated, and the shower stall was tiny and not very clean. It was also surprising not to have a TV, hairdryer, or kettle. We’d been told in advance that check-in wasn’t possible before 14:00. After a long trip with a child, it would’ve been nice if they’d let us into our ready room early, but we had to wait in the lobby until 14:00.
