We arrived by train a few hours before check-in, but the staff let us leave our bags in the lobby. They were extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, the included breakfast was good, and the location worked well for all the sights we wanted to see. We’d stay here again.

For the price, this is a pretty good place in the old town. The streets stay lively well past midnight, and one night that made it hard to sleep. There are no key cards; the two of us had one key with a heavy keychain, which we could leave at the front desk when going out. After 11 pm the staff leave it out. Once, I had to wait a few minutes while a family checked in before I could get it back.

The location is excellent. Rooms are a little small, but housekeeping was great and the bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was decent too.

The room looked a bit old-fashioned and could use an update, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, and the location is fantastic for reaching Florence’s main sights. Breakfast was good, and for the price and location it felt like good value.
