A really bad, old house with a smell, and no professionalism. The only good thing is the location. It’s just better than sleeping on the street. The toilet was very dirty, and we had to ask them to clean it.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good too, and the hostess was friendly and accommodating.

The garden view was lovely, and our room had plenty of space. Rifredi station is very close, with the main station in central Florence just five minutes away. We had a great stay, and the staff paid close attention to what we needed. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Florence.

8/10
The hostess was so kind that it helped make up for some of the shortcomings, which is why I found the rating hard to settle on. Breakfast felt less like a hotel breakfast, but having it brought to my room was a real plus. The room was clean, though it could do with an update. There’s no elevator, so this only works with light luggage. The location isn’t especially convenient, but the low price for Florence helps balance that out.
