IQ Hotel Firenze

The breakfast room was lovely and had a great view, though the food could be better. Our room was clean and well maintained, and everyone on the hotel staff was kind and hospitable. The location worked really well, close enough to walk around Florence but away from the chaos of the center. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

My friend and I stayed for six nights, from February 28 to March 6, and slept well in our quiet room facing the back of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and I liked the free minibar with drinks and snacks. Breakfast was amazing. All the staff were friendly, from the reception team who always greeted us to the breakfast staff, and housekeeping was the best. I’ll stay here again when I return to Florence.

The spa was a lovely way to start the day after a gym session. It’s small, but having a jacuzzi and sauna included for one 45-minute visit was a treat on a city break. There’s also an outdoor hydro pool, though we skipped it because it was too cold. If you’re not an Anytime Fitness member, you can still use the gym for 10 euros per visit. We picked this hotel for its modern look and the Anytime Fitness connection, since my London membership lets me use clubs around the world with my gym pass. It cost about £50 more than some nearby options, but exceeded our expectations. We got a welcome drink voucher and a 10% restaurant discount, plus complimentary soft drinks in the minibar and tea and coffee facilities in the room, which aren’t always provided in Italian hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my husband and I would definitely come back.

Daniel at the bar was great, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. The hotel is clean and modern, with good amenities and an easy location near plenty of attractions. I had a very nice few days here and would happily return. Definitely recommend it.
