We loved the staff's eating-out recommendations. They were always prompt and kind, and we'd definitely stay here again if we return to Florence. The suite was beautifully furnished and decorated, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with access to the terrace and practically everything we needed. Ironing facilities would have been great, but we managed. It was close to the Pitti Palace and, if you don't mind a short walk, the other main attractions too. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

We could walk to all the main sights of Florence, and the apartment sits right at the edge of the ZTL zone, so we could drive up to unload our luggage. Free parking is 900 meters from Villa Betania. Our room was bright and large, with a comfortable bed and a direct view of Porta Romana. The minibar had free water and was replenished every day. We'll definitely stay again next time. Highly recommended.

AVOID. There was no one on site, just constant long automated WhatsApp messages. The WiFi was very poor, and the climate units didn't work. Breakfast is advertised in the name, but there's no breakfast, only an espresso machine, with no cappuccino. Breakfast options in the area are limited. Parking is actually 20 minutes away, with nowhere nearby to safely load or unload luggage. Street parking is almost impossible. At 1 am, maintenance staff were talking loudly in the hallway and woke us all up. We had to ask them twice to stop. This is pure false advertising, and they should be ashamed.

The rooms are big and nice, and it's relatively close to the center. But GSM signal was very poor and the WiFi didn't work. The air conditioning was set to shut off at 10 PM. In December, with only 3 degrees Celsius outside, it was very cold in the morning, as cold air came through the poorly insulated big windows. The coffee machine was fancy and had its own milk fridge, but there was no milk. They only provided plastic cups for coffee, which isn't acceptable for Italy.
