Breakfast was a real highlight: a well-prepared mix of hot and cold food, from eggs, meats, and vegetables to fresh fruit, pastries, and great coffee. It was high quality and kept replenished, so we looked forward to it each morning. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Our spacious bedroom was comfortable and well appointed, with elegant decor and thoughtful details. The bathroom was generously sized, beautifully finished, and easy to use after long sightseeing days. Hotel L’Orologio balances comfort and style nicely. Its spot on Piazza di Santa Maria Novella is very convenient for the train station and for walking to Florence’s main sights, shops, and restaurants. We’d happily return.

We really enjoyed the fresh, delicious, high-quality breakfast that came with the stay. The lounge areas were cozy, and our room was clean and comfortable. At Hotel L’Orologio, the staff greeted us with a smile each time and were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a junior suite with our 16-year-old daughter. The rooms were quiet at night despite being close to the train station, and it was quicker to walk there than drive. Staff spoke English, suggested restaurants, and booked reservations for us. Breakfast is included, a lovely buffet with European and state-side options, plus an excellent view over Florence. There’s an elevator, though there are also stairs, so keep those in mind. We could walk to nearly everything in 20-30 minutes, except for part of Oltrano, which still isn’t far.

The room music is such a vibe! I loved that you can change the volume or switch it off, but I left it playing the whole time. The beds are comfy and breakfast is good.

Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, with a nice view over Piazza SMN. The room was stylish, spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with an Elegant Florentine look and a watch theme. Hotel L’Orologio is part of the Why The Best (WTB) Hotels group, which has a small collection of boutique 4-star hotels in Italy. Its location in historic Florence makes it easy to walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and other major sights.
