The suite was spacious, with a genuine Italian feel, and the daily cleaning was done really well. Staff were helpful, and check-in went smoothly on its own. The internet connection was unstable, though we didn't need it much. We had a small issue with the elevator, and Marco was very attentive. He even came to our room to explain what had happened.

The owner was helpful, and our room was clean and pleasant. Wi-Fi gave us a bit of trouble at night, but it wasn't a big deal. We'd definitely stay here again.

The room and bathroom were clean and had what we needed, and the location was great. My low rating is about one particular issue. We were in a hurry to leave, but the receptionist or owner stopped us and said we still had to pay the tax. He first asked for cash. We didn't have any, so he then handed us the card machine. It felt very strange to be held up over this when we were leaving. Hotel staff should handle these charges promptly and avoid putting guests through extra complications or asking for cash. We've never been charged a tax while checking out at any hotel before, and it delayed our plans. I don't recommend this place and won't return.

Our family had lots of room to spread out, and the beds were very comfortable. The remodeled room was lovely and comfortable, and the hosts were amazing, always helpful and accommodating. They offered to arrange tours and included a lovely breakfast. This was easily the best place we stayed on our European trip. I'd highly recommend the apartment for a Florence stay.
