Maison Ginori Guelfa

The room was exactly as shown, and everything felt new and clean. We also appreciated the little extras, like the phone charging dock and the amenities provided. Maison Ginori Guelfa is about 10 minutes from the train station and around 8 minutes from the Duomo. Pierpaolo communicated really well, and we loved our stay. Highly recommend it.

Pierpaolo was a gracious host and made sure we had what we needed. We had an early flight, and he called to arrange a taxi for us. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a luxurious shower that had three different spouts. It’s about a 10-minute walk to both the train station and the major sights. We loved staying here and would choose it again if we came back to Florence.

We were able to leave our luggage on the last day, thanks to Pierpaolo being so accommodating. He was also great about keeping in touch during our stay to see if we were enjoying it or needed anything. On arrival, he gave us a warm welcome and some excellent restaurant recommendations. The room was quiet at night and beautifully done, with modern, high-end furnishings. It was new, clean, and super comfortable, and much nicer than the more traditional style you usually find in Italy. The minibar was complimentary, and there was good coffee and tea in the room. The property is within easy walking distance of the main sights, with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes in the cute surrounding streets. We stayed a couple of nights in April and would definitely come back to Florence and stay here again.

We spent two nights at Maison Ginori in May 2026. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. Complimentary drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks were a nice extra. It’s close to central Florence and the Duomo. Pierpaolo stayed in touch on WhatsApp, shared restaurant tips, and arranged a taxi for our trip out of Florence.
