The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re spacious and very clean. Breakfast is great.

We booked through Airbnb and had a kitchen and our own bathroom, both very clean. Towels and fresh sheets were provided as usual, and breakfast was included at a cafe across the street, two pastries and one drink. The price seemed fair. The older couple who welcomed us didn’t speak much English, but we managed to communicate.

A nice place to stay in a quiet area, with lots of grocery shops and proper Italian restaurants nearby. The host was pleasant and really devoted.

This is one of the last surviving stretches of Florence’s outer walls. The gate is currently being renovated.
