The host communicated clearly and effectively. The apartment is clean and well maintained, in a neighborhood that’s both quiet and lively, with shops and grocery stores nearby. Buses 1 and 7 go toward the city center from close by, though it’s also an easy 25-minute walk. Bus 7 takes about twenty minutes to reach Fiesole. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is a nice standalone ground-floor building. It’s about a 30-minute walk or 15-minute bus ride to Florence’s tourist center. That’s a little far, but Florence itself is small, so it’s fine. There’s no washing machine, though there is a dishwasher, haha. Next door is Casa delle, a pizza place that’s only open for about three hours in the evening. Give it a try if you can. The dough is really chewy, the best pizza dough I had in Italy.

A cozy loft, with lovely attention to the little details.
