Orto De Medici Hotel

We had a triple room and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were kind, and our clean room had a large bathroom and an amazing shower. The garden view came with a wonderfully quiet setting. Breakfast buffet won’t disappoint. It’s a perfect place for walking to the main attractions, with lots of food and shops nearby. There’s an amazing gelato place across the street, not far away.

Before we arrived, Alazne was extremely helpful answering our questions, including about transport, booking museums and experiences, and restaurants. They made it easy to get anything we needed. During the stay, all the staff were kind, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. Our kids found the hotel comfortable and enjoyable. It was easy to walk to all the sights and also convenient for taking the train around Tuscany. We’d stay again at this great Boutique hotel.

The garden courtyard was beautiful, and a lovely place to unwind. Our room felt modern and comfortable, and the hotel was close to the main attractions while still a little off the beaten path. We walked everywhere. Breakfast each morning had an excellent selection, and the friendly staff gave spot-on tips for local food and shopping. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Orto de’ Medici and highly recommend it.

The location was fantastic for a first trip to Florence with my 17 year old son. The Medici Palace and Chapel are right at the end of the road, and we could walk around the city easily. We were welcomed warmly from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely, with a great shower, and Prime Video on the TV was a bonus after long days. Klara cleaned it beautifully every day. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff in the pretty breakfast room were attentive and friendly. On our last evening we used the complimentary welcome drinks, and the waiter happily told us about the building’s history and answered our questions about the city. The bar only opens for a short time each evening, but there are restaurants and cafes right outside. On our final morning, we left our bags and coats while taking one last walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
