The rooms were clean, the location was good, and the host was helpful when we checked in. But we had no real privacy because sound carried so badly. We could hear conversations, bathroom noises, even singing from neighboring rooms as though it were happening in ours. The design and lack of soundproofing seem to make it worse, with no carpets or wall coverings to absorb the noise. For what it costs, I'd expect more. It's frustrating that reviews have mentioned this for years without any improvement. I don't like posting negative comments about small businesses, but other travelers should know: unless you're ready to sleep in earplugs and barely spend time in the room, I'd stay somewhere else.

The location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable and perfectly adequate, and the service was impeccable. It was also very quiet, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. One thing to know: the elevator won't work for anyone if its doors aren't fully closed. Signs explain this, but other tourists still leave the doors open, so everyone else has to take the stairs. That's the only drawback, and it's not the hotel's fault.

Parione Uno is right in the heart of Florence, and we felt safe there throughout our stay. Our family room had plenty of space for the four of us, and the hotel was extremely clean. After busy days exploring, it was a peaceful place to come back to. The in-room coffee machine was a lovely touch, and we appreciated having filtered water. Breakfast isn't offered at the hotel, so we made our own little routine: cross the nearby bridge to a charming cafe for express pastries, then stop at a corner shop for fresh fruit. We'd eat on the bridge with my daughters and husband, which made for special family mornings. In the evenings, we loved listening to the buskers outside, especially the opera singers. The value was excellent for a family of four, and we had a memorable, enjoyable stay. I'd recommend it to families looking for somewhere serene, central, and cost-effective in Florence.

We had good value, nice rooms, and great AC at this ideal spot in Florence. One person in our party was ill on checkout morning, and the staff let us keep the room for an extra 1.5 hours so they could rest.
