The location makes it easy to walk to all the historic sights, and the host was great. The room was clean and had everything I needed. A heads-up about getting there: skip Google Maps. The easiest route is the shuttle from Pisa airport to Pisa Central, then the train to Florence and a taxi to the room, about 20e. There are stairs, which can be a drawback after a full day of walking, especially if you're older, but the location makes it worthwhile. Best of all, the nights were quiet and I slept well every time.
