Oltrarno was just what we wanted: authentic, less crowded, and full of local character. I was traveling with my adult daughter, who loves art, history, and architecture, and the neighborhood made the trip special for both of us. The loft itself was comfortable and quiet, with a full kitchen, washer, and dryer that made things easy. Our gracious host shared lovely restaurant and gelato recommendations, and welcomed us with a basket of local goodies. I have fond memories of living in a loft, and this beautiful place lived up to what I'd pictured. This review is long overdue, but our stay was so memorable that I wanted to share it. We're grateful for the experience and highly recommend it for an authentic stay in Florence.
