Hotel Rapallo

We appreciated how kind the staff were when they let us check in ahead of schedule, and the room was clean and well cared for from the start. The listing photos were misleading, though: our room didn’t have a proper window that let in natural light, so it felt darker than we expected. The TV wouldn’t connect to the internet. I spent around half an hour trying, and reception confirmed it’s a known issue. I’d suggest updating the room details and fixing the connection problem.

We were about a 15-minute walk from the Duomo. The hotel felt elegant, cozy, and pleasant, and the staff were especially friendly at breakfast. There were plenty of breakfast choices, including eggs made to order, though as a big cheese fan I would’ve liked a wider selection of Italian cheeses. The Classic Room was a decent size but not especially spacious, so I moved to a larger room with a terrace, which was much more comfortable. Keep in mind you need to reserve a breakfast time ahead of time, or you can ask to have it in your room if your booking includes it.

The staff were lovely and did their best to help with what we needed. The hotel is well placed, so all the spots we wanted to see were walkable, and breakfast was good too.

The room was made up neatly, and there was a little fridge with complimentary water. Breakfast was generous, with fruit, juice, pastries, coffee, eggs, bacon, sandwich meats, made-to-order omelets, and more. The hotel is centrally located, most attractions are a 10-20 minute walk away, and the people working there were kind and helpful.
