Relais Luce Florence

The elevator gave the whole building a fun, movie-like feel. We also really liked the views, especially in the morning and evening. The place was very clean, the staff polite and friendly, and breakfast was okay. It's well placed, about five minutes from the Dome and only a couple of minutes from the train station.

Everything we needed was here: a quiet room, A/C, a good breakfast, and staff who were genuinely friendly. The small hotel sits on the second floor of a building in Florence, but it's easy to walk everywhere from there. Modern and spotless too. I loved staying here and would come back.

We were only here for one night on the way to Perugia for Eurochocolate. Our host Magdalena wasn't very gracious, but I'd still recommend this cosy room any day.

The terrace was a highlight, with an incredible view and a lovely spot for breakfast. Even though the hotel is beside a busy street, we never heard the traffic from our very clean, air-conditioned room. The staff were always willing to help. It's just by the train station, outside the busiest part of the historic center, and the monuments are still only a five-minute walk away. We had a better stay than expected and will come back if we're in Florence again.
