The host said there was an iron, but there wasn't one. I couldn't find an empty parking spot near the building either. The bathtub had no plug, and when I complained they just told me to use it as a shower. 😤 The walls may be soundproof, but the windows aren't, so you hear everything from the street below.

This was a real disappointment. The room looks out onto the neighbors' washing area, and the atmosphere felt more like a dungeon than cute shabby chic. Tall walls and dim lights made it creepy. The shared toilet was humid with no ventilation, and there were no toiletries. I also found the hallway and the stairs to the ground floor scary enough that I wouldn't go out alone. The location isn't great if you don't want more walking after sightseeing: Piazza Marco is 20 minutes away and the famous domed church is 27, according to Google. The owner should communicate with guests instead of only sending a long instruction manual.

It was an okay place, though I wouldn't pick it again. The bathroom needs renovation, and the room could use both air conditioning and a minibar.

Fine for a few days, and the bathroom wasn't dirty. I did miss having air conditioning.
