The hosts made us feel at ease and were really friendly and helpful. They even gave us cards for nearby restaurants and gelaterias, and the places we tried were excellent. The rooms feel luxurious, with marble floors, high ceilings, and a built-in kitchenette. Highly recommended!

The hosts were gracious and polite, and the huge rooms had a lovely vintage feel. This was our best stay on the whole Europe trip. It’s a great place to stay in Florence, with all the main landmarks just a simple bus ride away.

July in Florence gets pretty unpleasant with all the visitors, so I’m glad we stayed away from the city center. The area had lovely gardens and lots of trees, and didn’t have the smell of the center. We enjoyed the local cafés without so many tourists, and the walk back from the city along the Arno. Our room stayed quiet, and the AC was a blessing during the heatwave. The hotel staff were very efficient too.

The residence has a real Italian atmosphere, and the friendly, helpful host can point you in the right direction. There are pubs nearby for breakfast and taverns with excellent food, though you have to seek them out. It’s in a district without tourists, about 15 minutes from the center. A perfect base for visiting Florence, I recommend it.

The host was so welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were well equipped, spotless, and great. You’re close to the center and to piazzale Michelangelo, which is a must-see at sunset. Totally recommended!
