Palazzo Gamba Apartments

We loved the apartment on the 7th floor, especially the two balconies, one overlooking the Duomo. When our children climbed the Duomo, they texted us to come out, then waved from above. The views were amazing, and the clean apartment had everything we needed: three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great kitchen. There was even a welcome gift of wine and olive oil. Having an elevator made getting to the 7th floor easy. Antonio and Dino were so kind and helpful, answering our questions, handling check-in and checkout, and storing our bags at checkout. The location was great, and the manageable walk with our rolling suitcases to Santa Maria Novello took about 15 minutes. I'd stay here again next time I visit Florence. Outstanding value and a beautiful spot.

The classic decor may not feel modern, but the apartments are comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. An elevator was a real help for our family, and the staff were responsive and helpful. The location is hard to beat for getting around on foot. Best of all, we had unbeatable Duomo views right from the room. A fantastic base in Florence.

Sara and Antonio did so much to make our visit memorable. The apartment was excellent, with an amazing location and views. At night, the atmosphere with the windows open was phenomenal. We liked this stay better than a hotel, and it was our favorite in Italy. Highly recommend it.

For our first night in Florence, this apartment was a great fit. The bedrooms were spacious, there was a nice sitting room and having two full bathrooms was a real plus. One bedroom faces the Duomo plaza, and the train station is very close. Sarah at reception was kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
