At €200 a night, I expected a lot more. This is a converted flat with rooms, not really a hotel, and you can hear people next door using the bathroom as well as noise from the street. The bathroom had nowhere to put things or hang a towel, most things felt cheap and plasticky, the bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets were poor quality. The bathroom door only shut if you slammed it. Someone emptied the bathroom bin but left some rubbish outside it. Worst of all, the balcony door didn't lock, so someone could have pushed their way into the room. The location is the one good thing. I don't understand the positive reviews. The managers' messages were very unfriendly, and even though I called twice before arriving, I was still told off for not sending a WhatsApp.

The room itself was fine, but the pillows reeked like old cooking oil. They smelled so disgusting that I struggled to sleep.

Everything was great, including the owner. The shower's the one problem: the jets spray in every direction except at you, and it really needs replacing :D

The staff were professional, very polite, and keen to help, and both the room and bathroom were clean during my two-night stay. There's no breakfast at the property, but the location made it easy to walk out and find good local food.

The online booking system was really advanced and let us make the most of our time in the city. Our room matched the website pictures exactly, and the owner greeted us warmly and was helpful. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness and amenities to the room itself. Thanks so much for everything.
