The location was perfect, close to everything, and we really appreciated having a larger room and bathroom. Anthony made the stay feel especially welcoming with his care and hospitality. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

The location is good, and the staff were really helpful and cleaned every day. Still, the place felt dingy and cramped, with only a small stool to sit on. The plumbing is very old, noisy, and the hot water was unreliable. Lighting was poor, too. There’s coffee in the room, but using it meant unplugging the refrigerator, say, to charge a phone. I paid less for a better hotel just around the corner. The reviews I saw gave this 4-5 stars, but I’d rate it 3 at most. The 5-star reviews are misleading.

An absolute dump, nowhere near 4 stars and barely a 2. The room was dirty, with clumps of black hair in the shower. The bed was on a mezzanine reached only by an unsafe temporary ladder, under a bare clay tile roof. Power sockets hung loose from the walls, the furniture was damaged with the PVC covering peeled back to bare foam, and the toilet blocked access to the tiny shower cubicle. The toilet seat was broken, the phone didn’t work when I wanted to call reception, and the roof terrace felt unsafe.

I checked the availability before our trip so my whole family could stay together. The site showed plenty of rooms, so we started making separate bookings and chose non-refundable rates because we were sure we’d be staying. After the second booking went through, the platform crashed and suddenly showed no rooms available, completely contradicting what it had just displayed. Within hours I contacted the hotel, explained the problem, and asked them to cancel so we could find a place that fit our whole group. They wouldn’t help. I understand policies, but when the availability was shown incorrectly and I raised the problem right away, some flexibility would have been appreciated. Very disappointing customer service.
