The location is the main thing this place has going for it: it's in a historic building and only about five minutes from the dome. The rooms looked much nicer in the photos than in person. Our room wasn't very clean or comfortable, the furniture was worn and damaged, and there was mold in the bathroom, including some that looked easy to clean. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I wouldn't come back. Parking was the biggest rip-off. The listing says parking is available, but in practice you have to use a city garage, which costs another 40 euros a day. That made the stay much more expensive than we'd expected. The city tax was another 30 euros for two people for two nights, which seemed higher than the official rate based on my research. It all felt like a huge scam and far too expensive. The online check-in was annoying too, with forms that had unclear instructions.

The garden view, high ceiling, and spacious room were lovely, and the bathroom was clean. The location was great, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. My only issue was the mattress, which sagged a bit and left me with some back pain. Otherwise, I loved our stay.

The location is hard to beat, with attractions only a five-minute walk away, though the train station is 30 minutes away. Check-in is completely automatic and easy. The room was very spacious, easily big enough for more than four people, and it was spotless and tidy. There's a jacuzzi, and the bathroom is huge. I seriously doubt you'll find better accommodation in Florence!

Getting into the old town takes only a few minutes on foot, and the room was spacious and clean. Check-in is entirely self-service. I stayed here for three nights in February 2023 and would highly recommend it.
