Mr Luciano welcomed us warmly and gave clear directions for entering the building and finding our way through its many security doors. All those layers made us feel safe, and the lift was useful for getting our heavy luggage up to the room. The room had adequate amenities. We also got a special price, wine, cakes, pastries, and a guide book to borrow from Mr Luciano. We were very happy with the stay and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is very close to the train station, and Luciano and his wife were thoughtful and accommodating. I changed my plans at the last minute and decided not to visit another city on my itinerary. Luciano rearranged my booking, and I moved to another room in their property on the 3rd floor. Both rooms had kettles and refrigerators, while my first room had a clawfoot tub. There was a bottle of wine in my room, and I got recommendations for good, affordable restaurants. I'd recommend the place to friends and stay again on future visits.

Luciano greets you in person and takes time to help plan your day, with excellent food suggestions. The rooms are beautiful, tidy, and clean, in a historic building, and have what you need to relax after a full day walking around the city. It's conveniently located near the SM Novella Station, right across from the Pharmacy. A hidden gem.

Painted ceilings and well-kept furniture made the place memorable, and it felt like a 5 stars hotel. Sleeping here was an experience in itself in beautiful Florence. Luciano is a masterpiece of hospitality and gave incredible suggestions for a great stay. Hope to come back soon!
