We booked through booking.com and had no problems. They sent codes for the outer and inner doors, plus the room key was in a lockbox, which made getting in very convenient. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was comfortable. There’s a nice cafe next door, too. It’s a superb base for Florence, just two minutes from the Duomo Cathedral and handy for all the main sights. Highly recommend.

A great stay for the price. The room was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the AC worked well. Self check in and check out were easy to figure out. You’re literally a stone’s throw from the Duomo, so it’s a great base for exploring Florence.

After I left an honest, fair review on booking, the hotel owner sent me several unprofessional and unpleasant WhatsApp messages. I’ve never had anything like that happen before. The hotel is in a nice location, but expensive for what it offers. Large piles of hotel towels and sheets were left at the entrance, which felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. There are very long stairs and no elevator. No staff or reception were available, and the bed and pillowcases in my room hadn’t been changed.

We felt happy there the whole time, and the atmosphere was both elegant and welcoming. It was really good value for such a convenient location. We can’t wait to come back!

The room was really beautiful, and arriving went smoothly. But I didn’t find it hygienic that the duvet was left loose instead of tucked into the bedsheet. The bed also squeaked loudly with every move.
