We’re still owed the refund we were promised. After we told the staff we’d left our key in the room, they said they didn’t have a spare and would meet us when we got back that evening to let us in. We called and messaged repeatedly, but nobody came. We were stuck on the streets of Florence until 4am, when we finally found another hotel and paid €230 for the night. The next day, they said we could have opened the room with an app. Nobody had mentioned that when we first told them about the key. They promised to refund us for the extra hotel cost and the trouble, but after a month of chasing them, they’re ignoring us and refusing to pay. Awful communication and customer service, and we were left out of pocket as well as stressed and with nowhere to go in the middle of the night.

Room 4 is the smallest of the four units, and we couldn’t have two suitcases open at once. It’s manageable for a short stay, but I’d pick a larger room for longer. There are also stairs at the building entrance despite the elevator, so it isn’t fully wheelchair accessible. The apartment is in the historic center, with the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio only a few minutes away on foot. Our renovated room was stylish and modern, with quality materials and thoughtful touches. The free water dispenser in the hallway was especially handy. Communication with the landlord was quick, friendly, and easy from the start. We enjoyed our stay and would come back, choosing a bigger room next time. It’s a good base for exploring Florence if you’re comfortable with the limited space in room 4.

The staff were lovely, attentive, quick to respond, and helpful. The location in the historic center is ideal for seeing everything on foot, and the modern room and bathroom felt beautiful and luxurious. Breakfast was a slight letdown, though. We recommend it.

The owners made us feel welcome and were really friendly. This place has just opened, and the rooms are designed down to the smallest detail, with a very modern feel and everything switching on and off automatically at check-in and check-out. We spent two nights here in the heart of Florence’s historic center. Highly recommended.
