We arrived at the requested check-in time and then waited 37 minutes before anyone came to help. They said an issue in another room had caused the delay, but it was still an awfully long wait. There were other upkeep problems too, including a bedroom door that stuck against the floor. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, though some design choices feel a bit impractical. Making coffee meant finding an extension lead and running it through the air. At the end of October the rooms were cold, around 18.7C according to the thermostat. Setting the heat to 21 on heating mode didn't make a difference.

We stayed at Ricasoli Firenze Luxury apartments for three nights. Pitti made a good first impression, with plenty of space and nice furnishings, but a few maintenance and comfort problems took away from the luxury feel. The air conditioning ran the whole time without cooling the apartment, and it was too warm for us. The owners seemed aware of it, since they emphasized that it had been set for our comfort. We ended up opening a window and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. I wouldn't want to stay there in summer. There were several smaller things as well: the jacuzzi had no plug to hold water, a handle on the inner right sliding bathroom door kept falling off, and the kitchen tap was very loose. I left a note about them, though on a three-night visit it didn't seem worth arranging repairs while we were there. They're straightforward fixes, but shouldn't come up in a place advertised as luxury. It's a nice apartment, though it needs a few tweaks to live up to that label.

Eliza was so kind and helpful. The apartment's in a great spot, and the room is modern and luxurious. After a lot of walking, it was lovely to come back for a shower in that big bathtub. I loved it and would come back ❤️ Highly recommend!

The team made me feel really welcome and looked after. They let me check in early and kindly gave me an upgraded room, and it was clear they wanted guests to be well taken care of. It's a beautiful, clean, well-designed residence right in the middle of town. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return anytime. Lovely.
