Sette Angeli Rooms

The old town building is well preserved, so renovations are limited. There’s no elevator, which makes sense for this area. My room was small, but clean and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. Even during the Florence summer, the heated towel rack was on and made it easy to dry towels. The spot is very convenient, just a few minutes on foot from the train station, with a Pam Local across the street. It was central but stayed quiet while I was there.

Once you're settled in, it's a fantastic spot, with markets, restaurants, and sights just a few minutes away on foot. Just plan the arrival carefully: the historic center here is a no-car zone, and there's no legal street parking nearby. The streets are narrow, busy, and one-way, so getting around by car is tricky. Parking is about a three-minute walk away. We should've left the car outside the zone, packed light, and walked in.

The room was really clean and comfortable, and Maria was so kind and helpful. It's a great base for exploring the city, especially if you're coming by train. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

After the first hotel we booked turned out nothing like its online presentation, finding a room at Sette Angeli was such a relief. It ended up saving our trip to Firenze, and we’d definitely try to stay here again when we return. The location is hard to beat, just a short walk from the station, central market, duomo, and lots of cafes and restaurants. Even on a busy street, the room stayed quiet. Ours also had a nice view. It was cozy and comfortable, with working AC and standard amenities in very good condition. The shower had strong pressure and got properly hot. There was complimentary water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks in the mini bar too. One snag: we’d booked through Booking[dot]com and arrived after hours, with nobody at reception. It sounds like guests booking through the hotel website get an email with self check-in details, but I hadn’t received any. I called, though, and someone gave me the information right away.
