For the price, this was a comfortable, clean place in a really handy spot. Mercatto San Lorenzo ( Mercatto Centrale) was the closest attraction, and the other main sights were easy to reach on foot. The room was spacious, had good heating, and kept street noise outside quite well. Noise inside the guest house was more noticeable when people arrived at night, with footsteps and conversations in the hall, though it quieted down once everyone was in their rooms. This is a guest house, so it doesn't come with usual hotel extras like toiletries or a frigobar. Basic, but nicely kept, and I’d recommend it if location and value matter most.

We paid around €400 and felt the place was nowhere near worth it. Nothing seemed to match the online photos or description, and since we couldn't cancel, we stayed only to sleep, coming back late and leaving early to spend as little time there as possible. The building is very old, smelled strongly of damp and sewage throughout, and we weren't allowed to use the elevator. In our room, the bed and blanket felt old, there was no fridge, and there were no hangers or proper wardrobe. The only closet was unpleasant and dated. Humidity smell lingered in the room, and the tiny bathroom smelled bad too. It was so cramped that moving around was difficult, and wrapping a towel without touching a wall or door was hard. The toilet shifted when we sat on it, which felt unsafe. This shouldn't be listed as a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had a really good stay for two nights, and they even let us leave our bags after checkout so we could keep exploring. The room was huge, with lovely big windows over the street, and the bed was very large and comfortable. There was plenty of room in the bathroom, plus a hot shower. The location made getting around easy, about a 10-minute walk from Florence Centrale train station and right in the center. Great value got money, highly recommend.

The host greeted me warmly and was both professional and very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, the Medici Palace, the Medici Chapels, and the train station. I’d gladly stay here again.
