B&B Stanze del David Place

The only small downside was construction in the building across from our window, so there was some daytime noise. That was just bad luck. The rooms have a lovely old-fashioned romantic look with modern facilities, and everything was very clean. Communication and check-in were smooth and flexible. Ideal, and I’d happily stay again next time I’m in Florence.

The location was perfect, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, with generous snacks and drinks included, though I wish there’d been gluten-free options. Each day they give you a ticket for breakfast at a nice cafe across the street, and Hey has gluten-free pastry. The toilet had a strange smell. The tiny old elevator was pretty neat to use. Loved this place.

The staff made the stay, both were friendly and so helpful, and communicating over Whatsapp was easy. For the price, the location and room were just right. We were under a 15-minute walk from all the sights we wanted to see. The rooms are small, but on a city trip I don’t expect to spend much time in one. The toilet makes some noise after flushing, though it really wasn’t a big deal. It was 35 degrees during our visit, so having air conditioning in the room was a bliss. I’d stay here again if I return to Florence.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The fridge had snacks, and there was a tea and coffee maker. It’s around a 15-minute walk from the train station, with the main sights less than five minutes away. The property takes up a whole floor of an apartment building and has a tiny but fast elevator. A great place to stay in Florence.
