Sylvana gave us excellent hospitality and was so courteous. We were upgraded to a superior room, which was large, as was the bathroom, and all the rooms had views over Piazza San Lorenzo. The hotel is one of a kind, right on the piazza in a building steeped in history that dates back at least to the 1500s. Breakfast was arranged at the partner restaurant La Menagere, and that was an experience in itself.

The bed was really comfortable, and the room was very clean. Staff were sweet and helpful. Even though it’s right in the center of town, it feels calm inside. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Right in the heart of the action, but the rooms are clean and you still get a quiet retreat. The location is wonderful and the staff are helpful. I’d recommend it.

The kind staff and great location made the stay worthwhile. I’m giving the hotel four stars only because the bathroom was too small for two people. I was there with my daughter, and we couldn’t both get ready at once, though it wasn’t a huge deal. When I stayed here in 2019, my room was spacious, had air conditioning and a view. I asked if I could have that room again and was told it was a suite. Paying extra for a suite should make you happy, but the hotel is still worth staying at either way.

The building’s history and quirky touches gave the comfortable, charming room a lot of character. Staff were super helpful, too. The hotel is close to the centre but fairly quiet. Each night, a musical performer played in the piazza outside our window, and closing it kept the sound out well. Love, love, loved this Hotel!
