That rooftop view is priceless. From the top floor, we felt like we were living above the world, with an extraordinary city skyline by day and night. My husband and I also had a front row seat to the church bells, which could be heard all across the city. The room was okay, with two balconies and an old but working bathroom jacuzzi. The water went cold when it was only a quarter full. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were much too soft. The large TV had Italian stations, but Netflix and other streaming services were available. The place is right among shops, restaurants, museums, attractions, and street performers. There seemed to be more gelato shops than all the other stores put together. Finding the property was harder: its sign is poor, and the entrance is tucked between two businesses on the corner. Our taxi driver went out of his way to help us locate it. We had to call the property manager and wait ten minutes for access. That wasn't his fault, since our arrival kept changing as we used Uber, the train, and a taxi; he needs an exact arrival time for immediate access. The elevator is quaint, meaning old and antiquated. Both wooden doors, one solid brown and one like vertical blinds, have to be closed for it to run. If either is left open, it stalls. It fits only two people without luggage. I took the luggage up first while my husband and the manager used the stairs. Seven flights are quite a workout, and after getting off the elevator there are roughly another 18 stairs to climb. The manager gave us a lot of information quickly, and we forgot most of it once he left. We never found the rental car agency or the luggage storage spot for checkout, so a map would have helped. Also, Uber isn't available in the area yet, and getting a taxi at checkout was very challenging.

For what we paid, this was overrated. Our suite wasn't on the ponte vecchio, just next to it in a newer building. The lift was the smallest I've ever used.

Very expensive for what's offered. It wasn't very clean, there was no cleaning service or breakfast, and the jacuzzi didn't work properly. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is appalling. The suite itself was a dream, though, and would make a magical weekend with a partner. At €345 a night, I expected more from the service: the fridge was empty, with not even a bottle of drinking water, just a carafe of tap water on the table. There was no breakfast and no welcome bottle of wine either. My expectations were high, and the service was a huge disappointment.
