The rooms have a quirky style that works, and there’s a comfortable shared space with a fully equipped kitchen. It has a bit of a staying-in-someone’s-home feel, with separate rooms and shared bathrooms. The owner is charming and enjoys chatting and joking with guests. The location is great, though traffic outside can be loud enough to disturb a light sleeper. Thick walls also mean the Wi-Fi is unreliable in some rooms.

It’s affordable by Florentine standards, clean, and draws a relaxed crowd. The staff are warm and charming, and I felt safe and welcome. If there’s a room free, this is the place I’d book.

This hostel felt like home and was right in the center of Florence. During my month traveling around parts of Europe, it was probably my favorite. Emma and Christian were so accommodating and made the place feel warm and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Our double room was spacious and pleasant, and we could cook there too. The hosts were very kind, and the location is excellent. Being able to check in at midnight was a real plus. Towels and soap were provided.

The location is great, but I wouldn’t stay again. It was very noisy outside and hard to sleep. The bathrooms weren’t especially clean, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable and often didn’t work. I also found the owner a bit odd, and breakfast wasn’t included. At that price per room, I’d have expected it.
