Villa La Lodola

We’re already hoping to fit Villa La Lodola into another trip. Manuela helped with breakfast, suggestions for places to visit, and reservations, and she and Mario were so warm and genuine that our first evening felt like spending time with friends. Our bedroom had a wonderful view and a very comfortable bed. The house and rooms are decorated beautifully, and the whole place felt exceptional.

The thing that stays with me most is how Mario and Manuela made us feel like friends and family. Their advice helped us connect with Tuscany’s history and everyday culture, and their care made the trip fascinating. I travel a lot, and this was a rare level of hospitality. The villa has a lovely old-world feel throughout, from the rooms to the living and dining areas. Outside, there are trees, flowers, fruit, and all sorts of plants, with amazing views from both the rooms and the pool. Breakfast was top quality, and I can still remember the smell of the morning mocha coffee and the taste of Mario’s cakes. Tuscany is beautiful, but Mario and Manuela are what made this stay unforgettable. Thank you both for everything.

We loved the garden, pool, and the homemade breakfast with fruit picked there. The rooms have lovely antique furniture and art, and the whole place is a beautiful 18th-century house run by a very kind family.

Manuela made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The rooms, service, and hospitality were all exquisite. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.
