The agriturismo is beautifully tucked away in green surroundings, with its own pool, and the owners were friendly and very helpful. We stopped for dinner and enjoyed generous, tasty dishes, all prepared and cooked by the owner. My main concern was the rooms: they should all have insect screens, including on the entrance door, to keep crickets and spiders out of the bedrooms. There’s also a small riding stable at the property, where you can ask about going for a horseback ride.

The food was fantastic, from the cured meat platters and the unforgettable truffle carbonara to the norcina with truffle, sliced meat, and mixed grilled pork with side dishes. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful too. My daughter and I stayed from June 25th to 28th and had a wonderful time. The room was clean, welcoming, and quiet, and the pool was a refreshing way to unwind in the heat. The valley setting is charming and wonderfully peaceful. Amanda and Luca felt more like friends than hosts, always kind and ready to help. Thanks again to the whole staff. Five stars? I’d give six.

The menu is excellent, with typical Umbrian food. I’d especially recommend the crescia with assorted cured meats and the truffle carbonara. If you’re after somewhere simple, away from the frills but still just minutes from the city, this is a good choice.

Amanda and Edoardo are what make this place special. Their warmth and courtesy stand out, and Edoardo, with his lovely blue eyes, really does his best to meet every request. There’s plenty to enjoy around them too: the valley view, pool, fresh air after the city, beautiful horses roaming freely, and dogs. The local-ingredient cooking is excellent as well. Thanks so much for everything, even the swimsuit :-)

The truffle-based first courses were exceptional, the grilled meat was cooked just right, and the platters were excellent too. Amanda’s cooking is a real treat. The rooms are comfortable and refined, and the owners’ hospitality makes you feel at home. With a pool overlooking the valley, it’s a peaceful place to stay.
