Casa Rosa holiday

We found the apartment very quiet and comfortable, with complete amenities and an extraordinary view. Rosa had prepared lots of little things for both our arrival and departure, and welcomed us so warmly. There’s a small supermarket and a little bar in the village, about a 5-minute walk away. It’s also easy to explore Lake Iseo and the surrounding area by car. 🇮🇹

The balcony view alone would have made the trip worthwhile: over the Mediterranean rooftops to the lake and mountains. The holiday apartment was beautiful and furnished with care, and our very nice landlady kept surprising us with fruit, vegetables, wine, and other delicacies.

Fonteno worked really well as a base for exploring Lake Iseo and the surrounding area. The road has a few hairpin bends, but it’s in excellent condition. Rosy welcomed us so warmly and made sure we had everything, even bringing a freshly baked hot pizza the next morning. The house is comfortable for eight people and has everything you could need. The view is enchanting, and the value for money is excellent. I’d recommend it for a relaxing stay with friends or family, with places to explore in the middle of nature.

Rosy looked after us wonderfully, bringing water, coffee, toast, pastries, fruit, a bottle of wine, and even homemade baked goods. There’s a small shop and café within walking distance in Fonteno. The apartment is very clean, spacious, and spread over two floors, with great equipment including a washing machine, dishwasher, and fully equipped kitchen, so it’s ideal for families. It’s in a fantastic spot in the mountain village, with lovely views of the lake and mountains from the balcony. The drive is on a well-maintained winding road, and the lake isn’t too far away.
