Vanella Rome Domus

I wouldn't recommend this place. It's made up of daily apartments, not a hotel, and the breakfast is just coffee and a croissant on a different street. Getting in and out means handling four keys, for the room, corridor, building, and yard, and locking and unlocking each one every time. We were also asked to pay 18 euros per guest in city tax and 3 euros per guest per night in eco tax, in cash. None of that had been mentioned when we booked. If I'd known, I would have chosen a hotel.

The location is peaceful and away from the crowds around the main sights, but we could still walk to most places. The Vatican was too far for us on foot, though the nearby metro made getting there easy. Our room was comfortable and had air conditioning, and the staff were very friendly with good service. For what it costs, this place goes above and beyond.

We landed in Rome late after a really long flight from Orlando, and they got our whole family into our rooms so quickly. The hotel is centrally located for exploring Rome, and I can't say enough good things about it. Loved it! If you're visiting Rome, do yourself a favor and stay at the Vanella Rome Domus.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and there were some nice extras. It's just a stone's throw from the metro, which made it an easy base for exploring Rome. Had a great stay and would recommend it.
