We arrived to find the rooftop terrace in awful shape, with a broken umbrella we’d been told about and furniture covered in mould and dirt or completely broken. We didn’t want to sit on anything and had to wash down two chairs. We’d booked the apartment but couldn’t stay because the landlord couldn’t pay the electric bill. We spent the afternoon there until we were told it wouldn’t be fixed, then had to stay at a local single-room hotel for our trip. The whole thing was a huge disappointment and left me feeling honestly scammed. I wouldn’t recommend it, for your wallet or your health.

The lively central neighborhood has lots of lovely shops and bars, and I felt safe there as a solo female traveler. At Nostramundo Ciancaleoni Palace, Leonardo went above and beyond with recommendations and quick answers to my questions. The accommodation was thoughtfully set up with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I loved it and can’t wait to come back, alone or as a couple :D

The terrace is a real gem, and the neighborhood felt calm, with useful amenities and more locals than tourists. The apartment made us feel like locals, coming home after a full day out. It was perfectly placed for exploring on foot or catching the metro, and Rome itself is amazing. I’d love to stay here again!

We found it peaceful and tucked away, even though all the main sights are close by. The apartment was a great little place, and our host was really helpful. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Rome again.

There’s a fantastic restaurant just a couple of steps away, and the location is excellent. The place itself is modern, cozy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you’d need at home. Such a lovely stay in Rome!
