Corallo Blu Hotel De Charme

The pool, view, and location were the best parts for us. It’s spotless and well cared for, with the beach and town center close by. Our room was in the older wing and looked dated, though it matched the Booking photos; the rooms in the newer wing looked much more modern. We’d rate the stay around 6.5 out of 10. The renovation wasn’t finished, and that wasn’t clear online. The breakfast room still looked unfinished, with very old furniture. Breakfast was disappointing too: canned pineapple, berries from a jar, and food wasn’t replaced when it ran out. It was over by 10 a.m., with nothing else available to order. Some staff seemed a little unfriendly when we first arrived. There’s no bar or food service by the pool, so you have to go to the sister hotel, Tritone, which also feels dated. Most guests were older and many were German. That’s not necessarily a problem, but could matter to some people. Corallo Blu has real strengths, but the unfinished areas and weak breakfast kept it from being a top-notch stay.

We liked the calm atmosphere and friendly service. The hotel has a pleasant garden and looks newly renovated. We had a balcony room with an extra bed for three people. The rooftop pool was a nice alternative to the outdoor pools and thermal spa at the affiliated Tritone hotel, about 100 metres away.

Hotel Tritone’s beach and pool are an easy, safe walk away, which gave us both peace and convenience. Our room was small, but very clean and quiet, like a little private hideaway. The shower had great pressure, a welcome treat after long days out exploring. The front desk staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We had a lovely stay at Corallo Blu Hotel De Charme and would happily come back.

We were upgraded to a super cute, very clean room. The hotel has been renovated, so everything looks new. The garden is lovely, and the facilities at the hotel next door are beautiful too.
