Hotel Belsole Ischia

Good location and great service. You can rent a scooter, and there’s a pool too, though you need a cap to use it.

A lovely hotel, and the staff are just as lovely.

The staff were the one clear bright spot, very friendly and helpful. The location is good, and both the outdoor areas and pool are well cared for. Breakfast was adequate, but the choices were limited. If you come down later than the other guests, the buffet may already be empty. The rooms really need updating. The furnishings are dated and poorly maintained, with peeling walls and stained floors. Cleaning felt superficial, not thorough or attentive.

The pool was clean and well looked after, breakfast was good, and the staff were welcoming and kind. The bus stop is close by, making it easy to get to Forio. I spent my Ischia holiday here with my husband. The hotel is in a good spot, but as a 3-star place I think it needs renovation, starting with the rooms and their furniture. The electrical outlets are dated, there should be two pillows, bathroom linens could be changed daily instead of every two days, and the cleaning needs to be more thorough. My advice to the hotel is to take care of the details. They matter to guests and make a good first impression for people who have stayed before.
