Hotel Poggio Del Sole

Breakfast was fantastic, with a mix of healthy and sweet choices, and the family bakes a variety of pastries themselves. Everyone on staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. When we couldn't find a bus from Forio Port on arrival, we messaged the owner and he came to pick us up straight away. He also drove us back to the ferry when we left. We could rent a scooter through the hotel, which made it easy to explore the island since the hotel isn't right in central Forio. We spent our whole Ischia trip as a couple at Poggio del Sole, a small family-run place with a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Our room was right at the top and had a stunning view over Forio, the surroundings, and the sea. It had everything we needed. The bed wasn't very comfortable, though, and we'd have preferred a proper double instead of two singles pushed together. Even so, we had a lovely, memorable stay and would recommend Poggio del Sole to others visiting Ischia.

The owner was so friendly, helpful, and kind, and breakfast was great. The pool is beautiful and the view across the island and coast is stunning. Renting a scooter through the hotel was easy and is highly recommended. Thanks so much to Amerigo and team :)

We stayed for ten days and would definitely come back. Many thanks to Amerigo and his family for the fantastic hospitality and excellent service. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, with a breathtaking view from its terrace. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the pool and jacuzzi were a great experience :)

The staff made this stay feel truly special. They were warm, friendly, and so service-minded that we felt part of the family from the moment we arrived. Whatever help we needed, they took care of it right away and always with a smile. The view was breathtaking too. Every morning we woke up to a postcard-like scene. We left feeling we had found a real gem and already can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!
