Residence San Domenico

The garden and pool are gorgeous, and the surroundings are very nice. The staff were friendly and super helpful. If you need a scooter rental, ask them, they might be able to help!

The place is beautiful and relaxing, with hills and tropical plants and trees around the hotel and pool, even though it’s only a 10-minute walk from the busy street. Everything was always super clean, and the staff were so welcoming. Frederica and Maria were especially lovely and made a real effort to help us. They even grow their own vegetables and herbs, leaving a basket out each day for guests to help themselves. Great value and, to me, the best spot on the island. I can’t wait to go back and see them!

The pool’s mountain views make it easy to lose track of time, and the garden is a real highlight, with organic fruit, vegetables, and herbs guests can pick. Making lemonade with a freshly picked lemon was unforgettable. The apartment was clean, spacious, and suited to families, groups, or couples. We got quick answers to all our questions, and the owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The residence is on a small hill, but the nearest bus station is just an 8-10 minute walk. You can also take a taxi, rent a car in Forio, or take a short hike. One of my best stays in San Domenico Residence on Ischia, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The peaceful setting among the olive and orange trees made our time here so enjoyable. It’s beautifully decorated, with care given to the details, and the cleaning was great. Stefania, the house keeping, kept the place spot on. Maria was always kind and helpful, and we had a wonderful time at Residance San Domenico. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy quiet, magical moments away from the noise and don’t mind a little walk to the center.
