The food was average overall. This feels like a modern restaurant serving traditional dishes, rather than a traditional modenese "ostaria". We had a main course tris of risotto, tortelloni and tagliatelle al ragù. The risotto was cooked well, but not creamy enough to feel like risotto, and came with glassa di aceto balsamico instead of traditional balsamic vinegar. The tortelloni were okay, though they had a faint amaretto taste that seemed more suited to the zucca filling than ricotta e spinaci. Maybe the two fillings got mixed up during preparation. The tagliatelle were fine, but I've had better ragù. The gnocco and tigelle were okay too, nothing special, and the gnocco was a bit thick. The menu listed a selection of jams and marmalade, but they never arrived. The sweets and Lambrusco wine were also unremarkable. At 30€ each, the price was reasonable, maybe a little high. I wouldn't come back here for traditional food, since there are much better places in our area.

It gets pretty hot here in summer, which is the one thing I'd mention. Otherwise, I really love this place! The setting feels warm, like being at your grandma's house ^__^. The food is tasty, especially with good company, and the service is great, always attentive and ready when you need something. 99/100

The rooms are modern and comfortable, and breakfast is very rich. The hotel is good, though there is no lift. Out in the Emilia countryside, it's a picturesque restaurant too. The menu isn't huge, but they serve tasty local dishes.

We thought we'd found a good restaurant, but left disappointed. It was busy, and we didn't get the attention we needed. We had to ask three times for a few pieces of bread, and when it arrived it was cold. The food didn't taste good and, in my opinion, was overpriced. Overall, a disappointing visit. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had a sort of pastry with prossutio and spinach tortellini, and everything was lovely. The traditional food of Modena was excellent. I'd certainly come back.
