B&B La Casita

Marco, the owner, was really friendly, and the place was clean. The location worked well, close to bus stops that can take you all over Rome. The kitchen had the supplies we needed, breakfast was good, and we enjoyed our stay.

I was one of the first guests when the B&B reopened under new ownership. The rooms are lovely, with Hisense TVs and air conditioning, and the owner is very kind and willing to meet guests’ requests. The location is convenient, with a bus stop for Termini station not far away. Breakfast is simple and all Italian. It would be nice to have a savory option too, or something for guests with food intolerances or celiac disease.

The main drawbacks for us were the bed and the noise. The windows are very thin, so it gets loud, especially at night when the ambulance sirens bothered us. The bed is too small for two, the mattress is too hard, and it squeaks whenever you turn. A more comfortable bed would make a real difference. The apartment is nicely furnished and has what you need, since we were out exploring Rome most of the time. The room had a wardrobe, TV, modern bathroom, and a mosquito net on the window, which was a definite plus. In the kitchen there was a fridge, sink, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. Bus stops and tram number 8 are right nearby. The tram reaches the train station or Rome city center in 20 minutes. Marco was a friendly host who looked after us well, and despite the noise and bed, we had a lovely stay. Thanks, Marco.

Marco was kind and helpful, and the area was quiet enough to relax. Public transport gets you into the city center quickly, though the accommodation isn’t right in the center. The room was clean and well equipped, with Wi-Fi, a TV, and a hairdryer. The bathroom was new and recently renovated, and the bed, though not very big, was comfortable. All the rooms shared a kitchen area. Breakfast was included; it wasn’t set out every day, but guests could help themselves whenever they liked. There were pastries, toast, jam, butter, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk, juice, and other basics. You couldn’t cook, but there was a microwave and the necessary utensils, plus fridge space for food for lunch or dinner. It was good value for money and a very nice place to stay in Rome. Marco helped make our trip more than perfect. Highly recommended!
