For a week, it was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer, and I don't think it's family friendly. The location leaves you a fair way from most things: the nearest, quite small store is about 10 minutes away, while bars are 3-7 minutes away. There was a bakery close by and a park nearby too, with a good route for jogging. The host could be easily irritated and raise his voice, even at people who were simply walking quietly in the hallway. Food seemed bought rather than homemade. Some of it was good, some questionable, but overall I found it very plain and added salt and pepper. There's a big lack of fruit and vegetables. You can request vegetarian, vegan or other food in advance. The daily menu was pasta, a meat dish with something potato-based or a vegan or vegetarian patty, then ice cream, panna cotta, and on the last day pizza and tiramisu. Breakfast had some cake, cornflakes but no muesli, white bread, cheese and ham. The tea and orange juice were great, though I can't say much about the food since I didn't eat breakfast. Room service cleaned well, but sometimes put things on the wrong bed. That's not a big issue, since they couldn't know what belonged where. I got lucky with room 112: unlike some other rooms, mine had no broken furniture or mold. The water took a little while to warm up, which wasn't too bad. There was no bathroom window, a bit annoying but nothing more.

The breakfast was better than you'd expect from a two-star hotel, and when I asked for an Americano in Italy, I finally got a Scandinavian-sized cup of coffee! 😁 The waitress realized we were from Scandinavia and even asked if we'd like another large cup. Splendid. This little gem is only a five-minute walk from the beach. The room had everything needed, and I liked the tiled floor.

We arrived at midnight with our three small children, who were asleep in the car, and the receptionist rudely told us to leave. She didn't speak English well and hadn't understood over the phone how many of us there were. I think she was frustrated with her own misunderstanding and our late arrival. She also couldn't provide a baby bed. When we said we might stay one day instead of three because there was no baby bed, she told us, “No, you spend zero days here, go.” I can't believe someone so heartless and rude works in hospitality. We found another hotel after that night. This happened at midnight, with three little kids!

The food was delicious, and the beach is very close. My room was neat and was tidied every day. It was a good experience at a very nice hotel.
