We planned one night but liked the apartment so much that we asked to stay another. They found us a good solution, so we spent two days in two different rooms. As a local guide, that lets me share a bit more detail. The entrance to 141 is at the end of a corridor beside a designer store, and you get in with a code. Downstairs is white with long strips of light. The first-floor elevator is dim, with black mirrors, floor, and ceiling and lighting that feels more like a nightclub. The elevator itself isn't noisy. The suite was magnificent, with a gleaming floor and a pleasant smell. Its main room has a slightly quirky look, including a tiny 2-meter rabbit on a huge plaster throne, as in the photo. There's a double bed with very comfortable bedding, a sofa, a table, and three chairs. The TV is at least 56 inches, with Italian channels, Disney Channel, and YouTube in your preferred language. Netflix costs €6.99. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There's also a nook behind a curtain with an exercise bike, folding bed, and crib. They provide cotton swabs, a razor, shower cap, soap, and sometimes a toothbrush. The towels are very white and thick. The kitchen has a range hood, hotplates, kettle, and Nespresso machine, but no capsules. There's a shop 100 meters to the left. Glasses, cups, utensils, plenty of lights, and electrical outlets are there too. Two well-insulated windows open onto a balcony overlooking the cobblestone street, with little traffic at night. The SMEG fridge is noisier, as are the upstairs neighbor's footsteps until she stops her goose-stepping after 10 PM. There isn't shouting in the street or under the arcades, and Wednesday market setup didn't disturb us. The next morning we went for breakfast 100 meters away, at the entrance to the Ospedale. The man who showed us the room, photographed our ID cards, and explained the codes, Wi-Fi, and door access also runs the café. Breakfast is added to the room bill, which we pay at the café on departure. The "superior" room is a little smaller but less cluttered. It has three windows, two with balconies, and a larger bathroom with a toothbrush, razor, hairdryer, and other items. Both bathrooms are well designed, roomy, well lit, with hot water and quality materials. The living area is laid out well, with a sofa, wardrobe and hangers, luggage rack, and two chair-like armchairs. There's no central table as in the suite, just one under a TV that's a bit too low. The screen is smaller, but the amenities match the suite. The hairdryer is in the hallway, so you don't hear its motor. The mattress seems lower quality than the one in the suite. From the headboard, you can hear the 56-inch TV in the suite. At 11:15 PM, earplugs will be welcome tonight.
