The view is nice, though you see it through an ugly fence. That’s about the only good thing I can say. The campsite is old and not well cared for, and hot water costs extra. The owner was aggressive and unfriendly. He made us wait ten minutes while he typed an email on his phone with one finger, then shouted at us when we were checking out and asked whether we could pay by Maestro. Apparently, he’d put up a sign a few days earlier saying the card reader was broken. It was awful being spoken to that way in front of our children. I also heard him yell at other guests for not noticing a tiny sign saying swimming caps were required in the pool. Nobody I asked had seen it. Such a disappointing way to treat guests.

Our tent was moved while we were away, after he’d told us to set up wherever we liked and said nobody else was coming. He gave no explanation, and our tent is now broken. He won’t admit responsibility. The old, unsuitable sanitary facilities and extra charge for hot water made this a really bad experience. Avoid this place.

The owner shouted at guests and was unfriendly and disrespectful. I won’t come back or recommend this place.

The views from this campsite are absolutely beautiful.
