The room’s design felt modern, and I liked that you can raise or lower the privacy screens. The hot tub and heated pool were exceptional, and the steam rooms were very good too. It’s a really refreshing oasis.

We spent Easter 2026 at the hotel and had a really lovely stay. Our j.suite had a terrace and an amazing sea view. The spa was small but planned very well, and the staff were friendly. Dinner the night before was delicious and refined. Easter lunch had five courses, but the menu was thoughtfully put together, so we could enjoy each dish. The pea soup, asparagus cannelloni, and lamb were especially wonderful. The standout for us was the service from Sig.Angelo Baldi in the restaurant. He was attentive to what guests needed and had a great sense of humour. When two guests we expected turned into six for Easter lunch, he handled it quickly and impeccably, and everyone was happy. A special thank you to the staff working with Sig.Baldi too. Our cameriere at lunch was friendly and smiling throughout, helping make it festive. The children were looked after with care and got dolcetti and chocolate eggs. There was so much to enjoy in spring. Grazie mille, complimenti, siete bravissimi!

The surroundings are lovely, the spa services are excellent, and the location is prime. Everything else met our expectations, and we’d gladly come back. But breakfast today, 31.01.26, really upset us and spoiled the impression. In an otherwise beautiful hotel, one of the men working there was unexpectedly rude to my child and me. I hope the incident is addressed.

The hotel feels old and needs renovation. The parking floor was moldy. We had an ocean view, but a train went by noisily every hour and woke us up. The bed wasn’t good, and the AC didn’t work.

We celebrated our wedding at Villa Maria Hotel & Spa in Abruzzo, and it was unforgettable. Our guests came from Canada and Italy, and everyone was blown away. The setting was a dream. We had the ceremony in the garden, then dinner on a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The staff made everything run smoothly from start to finish. They were warm, attentive, professional, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we asked. The food was phenomenal, with one authentic Abruzzese dish after another, all made with so much care and flavor. Weeks later, our guests are still talking about it. It really showed off the best of Italian cuisine. We stayed in the Master Spa Suite, which was spacious and luxurious. The spa amenities made us feel thoroughly pampered before and after the big day. Villa Maria Spa brought together Canadian and Italian warmth and hospitality perfectly. We can’t recommend it enough for its beautiful setting, service, and unforgettable food. 💛🇨🇦🇮🇹
