The host was warm and easy to talk to, and gave me useful advice on things to see nearby and getting into Rome. Frascati is a lovely spot right on Rome's edge, and breakfast was good. I'd definitely recommend it.

Do not book this place. Marco still lives there, and I spoke with him: he said it has been out of business since 2020. I booked anyway and ended up on the streets of Fraschati at 5pm with a huge suitcase and nowhere to go. In June there was almost no vacancy in Rome, and because of this booking I had already spent the previous three nights in two overpriced hotels. By then everything was booked, and I couldn't find anything for less than 100 EUR a night. The trip has been horrendous so far. I had to travel around 30 kilometers back and forth by taxi, train, and bus just to drop off my bag and get a decent night's sleep.

With only three rooms, the place feels quiet and intimate. It's very tidy, has parking on site, and the location is good too. The price for what you get is spot on. You won't regret staying here.

This is where I'll stay next time I'm visiting Castelli Romani.
