The room problems were bad enough: the bed was painfully uncomfortable, the pillows flat, the air conditioner didn't work, the TV wouldn't turn on, and lowering the AC brought a terrible smell. Parking was rarely available. I had booked for two weeks, so I dealt with this for a long time. The front desk situation was even worse. My 15-year-old son had spent the day in hospital, and his academy's curfew meant he couldn't get back in. I asked if he could stay in my room for one night. We might not even sleep, and he would only be there for four hours, but the man at reception wouldn't let him come upstairs and insisted I buy another room, saying the police enforced the rule against an extra person. I paid €60. It felt outrageously stupid, and I felt taken advantage of because I was a foreigner and he knew it. I can't understand why anyone would choose this hotel. I strongly discourage spending money here. Airbnb places at the same price or less are more convenient and have working amenities. I definitely won't stay here again.

The decor feels very old-fashioned, but the staff were great and the amenities were good.

The rooms are worn, and the heating and AC didn't work. It was noisy too, with yellow water and a smell of smoke.
